Salutations readers, and welcome to the first edition of The Weekly Owl!
We are so excited to launch this new newspaper to give the community a sense of current events. Our paper will include breaking news, recent events, any advertisements, and any updates on any allegiances. Before we get into this week's edition, we would like to bring you our team! SLGStardust and SLGLeugim are our Editors In Chief. They are the ones who lead our team, and those who make this whole thing possible. Next, we have VetMedYumei as our Supervisor. Yumei makes sure that everything runs smoothly and works side by side with our Editors In Chief! We also have our current workers, Maxymoos as Editor, MistletoeMalla, Thrashaba, and Maxymoos as Reporters too. They all helped to make sure this paper came into your hands safely and with ease. Without further a due, we'd like to get this paper off on the road!
Recent Events
Over the past couple of weeks, tensions have been rising within each allegiance and club. We've gained intel that the Phoenixes and Dark Followers are on the brink of a full-blown war. Each day there's more and more tension. Just yesterday, on Saturday, High Phoenix Sal was captured and tortured at the Dark Follower Camp at HenryyTM's housing. Our Reporters are trying hard to gain more information on this incident, so you can expect to read more on this in Edition 2 of The Weekly Owl. Over a week ago, High Phoenix Stardust was taken hostage and kidnapped in Vertick Alley. Her medical condition is currently unknown, but we will also try to receive information on that to update you. The Dark Lady, Sara Selwyn, was seen at the Phoenix Refuge at xArabella's housing as well after the incident. We do not know what happened during that interaction, or the relationship that she currently holds with the Phoenixes. Moving on to the Dark Followers, we have recently gained intel from multiple sources that they are on the brink of a civil war. All our Reporters know is that the DFs are split between the Dark Lady and the Dark Lord's approaches to situations and their level of aggressiveness in stressful situations.
Planned Events
Just yesterday, Deputy Aurorlock Rani Lightwood announced that the Aurorlocks will be hosting a Holiday Feast at chail3y's housing! This will be open to all, and everyone is invited to come. RSVP for the event in the Roleplay Hub discord! Here was the announcement she gave:
