Created in October of 2020, the WizNewsletter serves as a way for students and staff to recap on the month's updates. WizNetworkers spend countless hours researching, writing, editing, and implementing each section so that the happenings of the wizarding world do not go unnoticed. SERVER ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Store team dropped the beat during the Music in the Air store release this month! You can now rock out to your favorite tunes wearing the new Headphones hat that comes in four different colors. Or conduct your own spellbinding symphony with one of the Treble Clef wands and Music Note Wand Effects. Afterward, you can take to the skies on your very own Cloud Broom, before finding a nice spot to hang out with your Pet Sun or summon a Sun Guardian with the Atmospheric Staff! Additionally, the 2022 Black Friday sale kicked off and lasted until November 29th. Players had to hurry to get the sweet deal of 50% on all items except new releases!
With social media expanding, we here at Potterworld have decided it's time for us to expand as well! We are very excited to announce that PotterworldMC is now on TikTok! The Video WizNetworker Team has been hard at work creating content for us, and now the Potterworld adventures can be followed on all sorts of media platforms. Content will be posted regularly on TikTok, and will be posted in #media-updates. Be sure to check out the first post at @potterworldmc.
Thanks to the Store team, some great new updates to the Potterworld emote system were announced! Most of these updates have allowed users to better organize and search through their emotes. Some of the updates included users being able to sort through their emotes by pack, emotes being alphabetized within their packs, packs being sorted by release date, and more! A new way to preview all the emotes was also announced, check it out by talking to Nessa Malfin inside the In-Game Store! Finally, to end off the great update, the Potterworld store had an excellent sale of 25% off all emote packs that lasted until November 14th! We hope you enjoyed!
Prepare for a new Flying Map and updates to the Arena Token Shop with the Season 4 Mid-Season Release! Compete against others in the Dark Forest, now covered in webs and crawling with Arachtellas. Every item available in the Arena Token Shop's price has been lowered. Additionally, some items have been removed. This is to make way for the shop's new cycle feature! Different items in the shop will be available at different times of the year, so not every item will be available year-round. To commemorate the season winners, trophies have also been added to the shop. The Arena Team hopes you enjoy these updates!
COMMUNITY UPDATES
As October comes to a finish and November begins, it's time to congratulate our winner in the PW-Tober raffle. Congratulations Enzologies for winning with their adorable pixel art style entries! As a prize, they got to choose between a Pet Ghost, or The Devil's Pitchfork. All of this year's entries were amazing and we can't wait to see what you all create in the future!
As November comes to an end, we must close out our exciting Flying and Dueling Tournaments. We’d love to congratulate sergiosmart, ColeTheCapybara, and TallBlondeDude on winning the 3v3 Flying Tournament! We’d also love to congratulate EdenLovesMommy, jacquas, and SmellyLilBro on winning this month's 3v3 Dueling Tournament! Thanks to all participants, and we can’t wait to see what the next Tournaments will bring!
