After many years, Hogsworth students are invited back to Diagonal Lane to celebrate their annual Pride Festival! Help prepare the town for their big float competition and enjoy the lively celebration by speaking to Kevin by the Great Hall.

In your quest journal, you will find lots of new quests and revamped content from the past pride festival awaiting your help. Use your quest journal to hunt down the quest locations as well as keep track of all the repeatable side quests and activities.

We hope you all enjoy this year's Pride Festival in Diagonal Lane! The event will conclude on July 1st.

Hey everyone!

The Build team is excited to announce a slight restructuring of the current team. We are hoping to shift away from having non-staff roles, and make promotions and responsibilities of our members a bit more fluid. Thus, we decided to eliminate the Jr. Builder position, and rename our other roles. This means that Potterworld will no longer have non-staff positions.

The current Build ranks are as follows:

- Sr. Architect

This announcement also serves as a reminder that builder applications are open, and that we're happy to invite any motivated individuals to apply! The long-awaited Academics Hall has officially opened its doors! Head over now via the NPC at the front table in the Great Hall and dive into the ultimate hub of learning, competition, and fun! Whether you are grinding your skills, checking out the leaderboards, or just vibing with the jukebox, this is the place to be!

There is a 2 weeks limited scavenger hunt quest to celebrate the opening of the Academics Hall. Talk to Caden Cipher near the entrance of the Academics Hall to find out more and stand your chance to receive a limited edition collectable!

Celebrate Potterworld's 11th anniversary with cupcakes!
The time has come once more to celebrate another year of Potterworld! Step out into the Courtyard for the Anniversary Courtyard Celebration, which will run until June 22nd!

A Cake... Without Flare!
Kevin has been working diligently to prepare for the Anniversary, sculpting a massive cake outside the Great Hall, topped with 11 marvelous candles to celebrate the 11 Years of Potterworld. Unfortunately, Kevin has discovered they've gone missing at the last second - rumours have spread that a Mysterious Black Cat was seen taking the candles. Now he needs your help to locate the candles and reignite the Cake for the Celebration!

Kevin Needs Power... The Power of Cupcakes!
In order to track down the missing candles, Kevin requires brand new Cupcakes to fuel his powers - which can be made at the baking stations in the Courtyard. You'll need to locate the 11 ingredients around Hogsworth, and work to obtain them in order to bake them into your cupcakes. Kevin is very particular, and will have specific orders you must complete in order to feed him. Once you've baked your cupcakes, send them to the packaging station to get them ready for Kevin to consume. (And try not to think about how many Cupcakes Kevin will have to consume by the end of the event...)

Whichever cupcake has been baked the most at the end of the event will be memorialized as Potterworld's Best Cupcake with a special reward, available after the conclusion of the event.

Rewards
You'll find a number of rewards, both old and new, from the Droobledore Reward NPC inside the cake, including an exclusive reward should you manage to relocate all 11 of the missing...

With the release of the May the Fourth event, we are excited to announce the return of our Star Battle minigame tournaments for the duration of the event.

This tournament will feature two of our Star Battle minigames: Escort Payload and Star Racing.

How will the Tournaments work?

• Our tournaments will involve two separate leaderboards for each gamemode.
• Players can earn points by winning Escort Payload rounds or by racing in Star Racing.
• After the May the Fourth event has ended, the top five players on each leaderboard will win a reward!
  • You can view your placements for this tournament on the tournaments page or in-game on Batuu near the Millennium Falcon.

The rounds in these tournaments too will be staggered, with a different game’s tournament unfolding every week. Each tournament will run over the course of a week, starting at 12am PST on the Monday and ending at 11:59pm PST on the following Sunday.

The tournaments will commence from this week of the event and follow the below schedule:

• Monday May 12th - Sunday May 19th: Escort Payload
• Monday May 19th - Sunday May 26th: Star Racing

All rewards will be handed out after the conclusion of the May the Fourth Event.
