A Letter From Headmistress Lare
As students return to Hogsworth following their time at École du Monde Occulte, an owl soars through the Great Hall, dropping a letter on Headmaster Droobledore's plate during breakfast. The Headmaster opens the letter, quietly reads it, and then posts it outside of the Great Hall for students to read. The letter is below.

Dear Hogsworth Students, I thoroughly enjoyed our time together during this years Winter Waltz, exchanging traditions, history, and plenty of wonderful food. I hope you've found École du Monde Occulte as a wonderful place to spend the winter holidays. Although our time together may be drawing to a close, I wanted to ensure that you have a reminder of our incredible time together. As such, I'd like to let you all continue to take care of Pierre back at Hogsworth. I cannot keep letting him escape and run amuck, and you all did such a good job of tracking him down each time that I feel as though you have become real caretakers for Pierre. I've arranged for Pierre to be transported to Hogsworth, where he will arrive shortly (In a more secure habitat, I might add). Although I will miss my dear pet, I trust he will be in good hands. Maps Rotation - January 2024
Hey everyone,
The Build Team has prepared a new minigame maps rotation for you to celebrate the new year with!
Minigame maps will rotate around every three months - you may expect maps to rotate during July, October, January, and April! This means that some maps will be disabled for certain periods to allow others to shine. Additionally, special-themed maps, such as event maps, will be accessible for the duration of the respective events and will not be part of the rotations.
We hope you all enjoy this quarter's rotation, and wish you a happy new year!

Monthly Art Giveaway - January 2024
Hello witches, wizards, and other magical fellows!
As January and a brand new year begins, we are excited to announce the winner of last month's giveaway, as well as announce this month's new prompt!
In December, we had so many incredible pieces of art submitted that fit the theme of winter wonderland. From beautiful and wintery art pieces to wonderful photography, those in our art community showcased their talents once again! And so, without further ado, the December winner is… chainmetoacactus! They will receive the prize of 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points today.
Now onto the January giveaway & theme!
To reiterate, the Monthly Art Giveaway is a way for players to create any art form (MC build, render, drawing, writing, craft, etc.) while fitting a specific theme. One winner will be randomly picked at the end of the month, and will receive 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points!
This month's prompt is to create something that expresses a goal for the new year! This can be anything from something you'd like to do for yourself, or something you'd like to see done on Potterworld this year.
Giveaway Guidelines:
- One prompt will be released every month. All submissions must follow this prompt, submissions that do not will not be entered.
- The submissions may be ANY form of art (builds, writing, drawing, renders, music, photos, etc.) as long as you are able to share it with us.
