Personally, I enjoy Protello's current place in dueling. For most people, it is already at 2/3 seconds. Timing the deflection of spells also isn't very easy, even with a low cooldown.

I would love this suggestion. Sometimes, I say something that I realize is wrong a couple seconds later. This would help!

If gear is removed from dueling, this suggestion should be voided. Lower levels can still be viable in a system without gear, as skill will determine the fate of the duel.

Healers are still viable without gear. Spell trees will still exist, allowing for a strong healing buildpath to be run.

I think I speak on behalf of the dueling community when I say that they prefer dueling without gear. The only "positive" of gear in dueling is that it gives you actual power when you hit higher levels. It's preferable if it gives you potential power, in access to more powerful spells, but it...
