I think the reason that this has not been added is that it can cause a lot of lag. Even regular use can be hard on the server when a lot of people are doing it at once, not to mention people using it maliciously to create lag.

The title explains it all. I'm fairly certain it would be very easy to do. All you have to do is check if the player is already in a party and if they aren't just put the code that makes one and then invite the person.
