Created in October of 2020, the WizNewsletter serves as a way for students and staff to recap on the month's updates. WizNetworkers spend countless hours researching, writing, editing, and implementing each section so that the happenings of the wizarding world do not go unnoticed. SERVER ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Store Team has set the stage for our 10th Anniversary celebrations with the unveiling of the latest Anniversary Store Releases! Check out some of the new items, including the stylish Emerald Flaming Wand and the festive Purple Party Hat. Looking for a new pet? Check out the featured Pet Balloon Collection. Explore all of the releases both in-game and on our webstore for previewing and purchasing. Plus, check out recent updates like wearable wand testing along with additional custom wand name slots of an extra touch of personal magic.
Spam and bots are no more for our forums thanks to our skilled Wizencouncil Team, Head Staff, and Developer Kieran! When making an account, players will be required to link their Minecraft Account with their forum account in order to participate in forum activities. Though it was a difficult decision to make for our team, it was the best action to take to ensure the safety of those who take part in forum communications. Make sure to check out the announcement for more information including the new process as well as issue protocols.
Potterworld's 10th Anniversary finally arrived, and the Store Team prepared for everyone to take part with the Celebration Store Releases and a store sale for all to enjoy! All of the store items were 50% off until May 23rd, leaving plenty of time for players to make their fashion selections. Along with this, some new additions were made to the Drooble's Order Subscription including Cake Death Effects, a Drooblebaby Warp Key, a new Anniversary Icon, and much more! As always, players had the opportunity to preview these items in our in-game store before making their selections, and we hope everyone enjoyed!
GAMEPLAY UPDATES"May the Fourth be with you!" Get ready to embark on an epic adventure in the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! Join the fun and play minigames like Star Racing, Star Battle, and more, or try your hand at one of the droppers as well! Complete quests to earn rewards, including Star Tokens and Beskar, and don't miss the opportunity to purchase exclusive rewards with Star Tokens. And as a special bonus, Chopper will join you on your intergalactic journey if you help Hera Sendulla!
The time came to celebrate a momentous occasion... Potterworld's 10th Anniversary! The server, now 10 years old, has featured everything from classes to quests, and the magical journey is still going on as we continue the journey. Travel to each of the magical schools, now returned for you to enjoy, and feel free to join one for the duration of the event! Different minigames and quests will be available during this time, allowing players to earn some School Spirit! Brand new main quests are here to help you celebrate, as well as a variety of side quests for you to partake in. In addition to that, some exclusive activities are ready for you to explore. Droppers, mazes, parkour, and other minigames are back from older events, so make sure to participate in those for the chance to win some additional Event Tokens! Of course, we can't forget to mention our exclusive rewards, including an incredible Droobledoll Hat! Make sure to check out the event, as it'll be lasting until the 13th of July!
COMMUNITY UPDATES
April was a month blazing with competition, and we finally have our winners for the April 2024 Quabbleball Tournament! Congratulations to Lannifox for coming in first place. Congrats to the runner-ups, pendar7 and DirtyWubble42 for coming in 2nd and 3rd place. Everyone played valiantly last month! You can check out the final leaderboard for the April Tournament results on the Official Potterworld forums.
The Academics Team spoiled our players this month with a scheduled 8 Hours of Classes to celebrate the release of the May the Fourth Event! This particular event took place on the 11th, with back-to-back classes following the event or space theme. Students who attended at least half of the classes were rewarded with something special thanks to their attendance in classes such as Magical Objects, Astronomy, and much more! Hopefully you were able to attend, and we thank our professors for a wonderful event!
With the arrival of this year’s May the Fourth Event, a fan-favorite minigame has made a special return as well: Star Battle! The minigames tournaments featured both Escort Payload and Star Racing, with each tournament lasting a week. Two leaderboards were set for each minigame, highlighting the Top 5 players for each. Make sure to check the forum post for more details on the amazing rewards and rules that were set! We hope everyone had a blast-tastic time partaking!
To continue the Anniversary celebrations, the WizNetworker Team is holding a giveaway, giving everyone a chance to win the exclusive Droobledoll Hat along with Gift Cards and House Points! In order to enter, players have to share a favorite Potterworld memory, something they enjoy about the server, or submit a screenshot of a memory. Those who enter shouldn't feel limited by these topics, though, as we want to see how you celebrate your way! There will be three winners, decided by the order they're rolled in. If you're interested in joining, make sure to check out the forum post for the official prize list and giveaway guidelines. The giveaway will be open until June 20th, so take a look before then!
The release of the May the Fourth event added two new tournaments to our current roster, bringing forth new victors for us to congratulate! To start, let's congratulate the winners of the 2v2 Flying Tournament, M_Engel and Invisibilia. We can't forget to congratulate our Dueling winners too, Deathlish and TallBlondeDude! Now for our new additions, make sure to give a big congratulations to the winners of the 2v2 Star Racing tournament, kin9frost and HarryPotters! Last but not least, give a round of applause to the valiant Plasma Showdown winners, Deathlish and Ivya! We hope everyone enjoyed participating, and we can't wait to see you try to take the crown in next month's tournaments!

Another "Hours of Classes" has been announced by our wonderful Academics Team, featuring 12 back-to-back classes today, June 1st! Make sure to try and attend at least 4 out of the 12 classes, as you'll be able to claim a special reward in the class lobby if you do so. Some of the amazing classes featured include our classic Potions, exciting Magical Cuisine, relaxing Creative Writing, Mystery Challenges, and much more! You won't want to miss out on this, so clear your calendars and enjoy some creative classes presented by our wonderful Professors and Class Helpers!
