Welcome to the Academics weekly assignment for the week of December 5th, 2021! These weekly assignments will give our Professors the ability to showcase some of their lesson ideas here on the website. Each assignment will be posted for a week, in which everyone will be able to read about the topic and respond to the assignment prompt. This week's assignment is "Divination - Palmistry,” created by Hannah (Bertnana).

The Academics team is proud to announce a 24 Hours of Classes event scheduled for this upcoming Saturday, December 4th (in PST). We'd like to invite you all to join us as we have 24 classes back-to-back at the start of each hour all day long! Make sure to check out the schedule below for each class, and we hope to see you there!

With the Winter season approaching, we're excited to announce our Winter 2021 art competition and writing competition! You can enter both competitions for the chance to win the Holiday Reindeer Antlers, North Pole Staff, or Snowflake Staff! There will be 3 winners for each competition, for a total of 6 winners.

Competition Prizes
1st Place Winners: 200 HP, 600 PP, and their choice of ONE of the above prizes
2nd Place Winners: 150 HP, 450 PP
3rd Place Winners: 100 HP, 300 PP

Competition Timeline
December 1st - Submission period is opened
December 15th - Submission period is closed and judging begins
December 22nd - Latest date for winners to be announced

Hello everyone!

We are excited to show the Potterworld community a first-look at the Potterworld Wiki which the Scribe team has been working on for the past year. This wikipedia contains over 500 pages, and we are steadily working on more. We have many pages with exclusive information about creatures around the world, quests, locations, and more! This wikipedia includes fun and intriguing lore, as well as history of the server, and obscure facts about our gameplay.

With this first-look, the level requirement to apply for the position of Scribe Intern has been lowered to level 61! Our Scribe team is responsible for writing and organizing the content for our upcoming official Potterworld wiki. To continue writing pages, and editing pages, we are looking to expand our team. We look forward to applications, and we’re super excited to bring new scribes to the team! If you would like to learn more about the Scribe team or access the application, click here.

We would like to say this is just a first-look, and we are actively editing information on pages. What we show here may not be the final product, but we wanted to share it nonetheless. We hope you enjoy!
