Happy Butterbrew!

This year, the residents of Hogsend are celebrating Butterbrew early by hosting a carnival! Explore the decorated streets of Hogsend, play some exciting carnival games, win lots of plushies and prizes, and participate in not only one, but two competitions!

Speak to Carnival Kevin at the Great Hall to travel to the Butterbrew Hogsend. The Butterbrew Carnival will be in town until October 1st.

Quests & Activities
In your quest journal, you will see a new icon for the Butterbrew Carnival. This will be accessible throughout the entire event and will be disabled after the event ends. Upon completing quests, you will be rewarded Event Tokens. There are two main quests as well as five carnival games. You will get 6 game tokens a day from Carnival Kevin at the event that you can use at the carnival games to play whichever games you'd like in whichever order!

Minigames & Repeatable Gameplay
Speak to the Minigames Master at the event in order to play the new minigames: High Top Hop and Trapeze Trouble. You can also play some classics as well, like Butterbrew Plunge, Brewmaster's Flight, Ice Cream Maze, Mirror Maze, and Brewery Bound. Completing these minigames will award bonus Event Tokens!

All games in /games will also award Event Tokens for the duration of the event.

There are two competitions to participate in at the Butterbrew Carnival: The Brewing Battles and the Petting Zoo.

Hello everyone! The Game Designer Team has prepared another mid-update patch for you all!

We are excited to announce that we are adding bags into PotterworldMC! What are these bags and how they be used? Read on to learn below:

• You will find a new NPC named "Bizbo Bags" near the Great Hall in Hogworth and at the entrance of Carket Market
• Bizbo Bags will give ALL players one free Materials and Plants Bag
• Each bag will have different Category Types that can be placed into the bags. This means that the bag can only hold items of the SAME category
• Bags cannot contain other bags, books, or magic items. They will be returned to your inventory if attempted
• Bizbo Bags will also sell:
  • 1 x Choco Hop Bag
  • 1 x Collectables Trunk
  • 1 x Gear and Travel Bag (Gear and Brooms)
  • 1 x Consumables Bag (Potions and Food)

The Media department is excited to announce that we are opening Video WizNetworker applications! Video WizNetworkers are Staff members devoted to producing video content for our Social Media platforms & the Potterworld Store.

Applications will remain open for the time being until the position is filled. Welcome to the Academics weekly assignment for the week of August 14th, 2022! These weekly assignments will give our Professors the ability to showcase some of their lesson ideas here on the website. Congratulations to Emily (@Ralie) on becoming our newest Head of Media & Public Relations!

As Head, Emily is now responsible for the management of all the teams within the Media & PR department. She will be responsible for the standards for creative content released & used for the server.

For a long time, I had been worried about passing on the torch. Media is a challenging department to lead. With all of our different teams, leading it requires a lot of creativity and understanding of various art forms. BUT I had no reason to worry at all because of Emily. Emily started out as a Skin Arithmancer and made her way all the way to the top because of her dedication to the department and server. She has put the time into learning about all the Media teams and my confidence in her is so high.

If there's anyone who can be Head of Media, it would be Emily! She will always have my support and I hope you all can continue to support her & Media as well.

Hello everyone! The Game Designer Team has prepared another mid-update patch for you all! Please keep in mind anything in the "Upcoming Content" section is subject to change and not set in stone, nor do we have a release date guaranteed for any of it.

New Content

• Added a Sensitivity Toggle in Rising Healer: United that changes the nausea maze to a blindness maze if turned on.
• Added the rewards section to the Collectors Bag. The final reward can be claimed when you have at least one collectable of each month in 2022.
• Added Hidden Level 60 Fast Travel Activity which comes with a new discovery!
• We revamped and brought back the Battle of Potterworld Dungeon as a permanent Level 60 Dungeon!

Upcoming Content (subject to change)

• As mentioned in a previous patch, we have decided to remove the variability from Reputation rewards. This is not released yet, as it is a change that requires us also to update everyone's current stat balances to a value as if they had been earning a consistent amount from the beginning, but it will be released sometime in the coming weeks.
• Phase 2 of Reputation
• We have another New Fast Travel Quest in progress!
• We are working on an array of new businesses we will be establishing around the world.

Hello lovely readers and welcome back to the Daily Diviner! Today we will be covering Staff Appreciation Day and the Staff Writing Competition. Staff Appreciation Day is a week-long event held in January and July where staff and team members are recognized for their hard work on the server! This recent Staff Appreciation Day event was extra special as it was the last one held by the Inquisitor team. The theme for the writing competition was ‘Under the Sea’.
