As we start February, we are excited to announce the winner of last month's giveaway, as well as announce this month's new prompt!
In January, we had so many incredible pieces of art submitted that fit the New Year's prompt! From creative digital pieces to beautiful paintings, those in our art community showed their talent once again! And so, without further ado, the January winner is… mn614! They will receive the prize of 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points today.
Now onto the February giveaway & theme!
To reiterate, the Monthly Art Giveaway is a way for players to create any art form (MC build, render, drawing, writing, craft, etc.) while fitting a specific theme. One winner will be randomly picked at the end of the month, and will receive 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points!
This month's prompt is to create a piece representing an expression of love! Keep in mind, this isn't restricted to romantic love. There are multiple ways to express your love for someone: parental love, sibling bonds, friendships, and more!
Giveaway Guidelines:
- One prompt will be released every month. All submissions must follow this prompt, submissions that do not will not be entered.
- The submissions may be ANY form of art (builds, writing, drawing, renders, music, photos, etc.) as long as you are able to share it with us.
- Submissions must be submitted on the Art Discord in the #monthly-giveaway...

Created in October of 2020, the WizNewsletter serves as a way for students and staff to recap on the month's updates. WizNetworkers spend countless hours researching, writing, editing, and implementing each section so that the happenings of the wizarding world do not go unnoticed. Let’s get into the news from the past month! TABLE OF CONTENTS
The Community Management department wanted to update you all with some of the changes we have made within the Scribe team.
We have made the decision to combine the roles of Scribe Intern and Scribe Publisher in order to increase the efficiency, quality and overall amount of content we put out for the wiki. So, what does this mean exactly? Well, originally the role of Scribe Intern was mainly responsible for writing pages while Scribe Publishers were in charge of editing and implementing content to the actual wiki. As far as the Potterworld wiki goes, you should not notice a visual change at all. If anything, you will probably just be seeing an increase of the content and pages available.
This new role will remain being called Scribe Publisher, however, every member of the team now is responsible for both writing pages as well as implementing the content onto the wiki. Unfortunately, with these team changes, the Scribe team will be shifting from player applications to being staff-only. We are unsure if this will be a permanent change or if we will open applications back up to players in the future. However, as of right now, the Scribe team is staff-only.
Thank you so much for all the support you have given to the wiki, and we are super excited to hopefully produce more content overall because of these changes. If you have any questions or would like to inquire further about this, please reach out to the Lead Scribe (Grace#0003).
Hello everyone! The Game Designer Team has prepared another mid-update patch for you all, filled with plenty of surprises!
The Victory Point
The Victory Point is officially open, located in Tristmoor! You can now buy multiple different kinds of dice for roleplay uses, as well as a few Wizarding History themed enchanted minifigures (Which Prim Katan now brags are 99% stable!). Who knows what other secrets Prim may have in store for the future...
Shop Competition Thoughts
The Game Design Team quite liked the Shop Competition and we loved the community feedback. It was a different kind of community event, and something we'd like to continue in various forms in the future, not just for shops, but other votes as well.
If you have any questions or concerns about this update, please reach out to a staff member on discord or use /t create to report any issues!
