The Game Design department & Lore Team are thrilled to announce that we are reopening Lore Keeper applications! Lore Keepers are Staff members that are responsible for designing, writing and creating all lore for the server with the use of their creativity.

Applications will stay open until the position is filled! Do take your time when you fill in the application and make sure you are able to meet all the requirements (listed in the beginning) before submitting it. Please contact the Lead Lore Master (arne#2824) if you have any questions.

Welcome to the Academics weekly assignment for the week of November 6th, 2022! These weekly assignments will give our Professors the ability to showcase some of their lesson ideas here on the website. Each assignment will be posted for a week, in which everyone will be able to read about the topic and respond to the assignment prompt. The Store team is excited to announce our latest project, the Emote Update and Sale! We have implemented a ton of quality of life suggestions to our emotes system and we hope you will enjoy them! These new additions include:

• You are now able to sort through your emotes by packs making it much more efficient to find the perfect emote for any occasion.
  • However, if you feel that you prefer the old way of sorting, we have given you the ability to do so as well! You can use the command /me, click on Settings, then select Emote Pack Changes to revert these changes.
• We have sorted the packs by release date from oldest to newest.
• All emotes have been alphabetised within their corresponding packs.
• Discussed and implemented much higher standards and guidelines to each individual emote's success and fail messages.
• Added in a way to preview our large array of emotes in the in-game store. To get started, talk to Nessa Malfin!

Additionally, all emote packages will be 25% off until 12am PST on November 14th!

As we wrap up PW-Tober, we are excited to announce the theme of November's Art Giveaway.

To reiterate, the Monthly Art Giveaway is a way for players to create any art form (MC build, render, drawing, writing, craft, etc.) while fitting a specific theme. One winner will be randomly picked at the end of the month, and will receive 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points!

This month's prompt is to create a piece that follows the prompt of holiday preparation!
