Welcome to the Academics weekly assignment for the week of October 30th, 2022! These weekly assignments will give our Professors the ability to showcase some of their lesson ideas here on the website. Each assignment will be posted for a week, in which everyone will be able to read about the topic and respond to the assignment prompt. For the Spooky Season, the WizNetworker Team held a writing competition with the winner having their story released on our platforms. The results are finally in!

We are excited to bring you the newest addition to the store; Gift Cards! Gift cards on Potterworld allow us to share codes which contain a balance of real currency to be spent on the store at a later date. You can purchase a gift card for yourself, friends, or family!

How can you purchase your gift card?
You can navigate to the Gift Card option, in New Releases. You can add Gift Card to your cart, and after you will be shown an option to select exactly how much you want to obtain on your gift card. You can input any amount and purchase it for the same price. Your gift card will then be used to purchase items on this store for the same value.

How do you access your gift card?
When you purchase a Gift Card, you will also input an email for the code to be sent to. You must check the email you have input to find a code that is exclusive to your gift card! You can then send this code to a friend as a gift, or utilise it for purchases later on.

How much is left on the gift card?
If you cannot remember the balance you have remaining on your gift card, you can input a support ticket on our website to find out. All you have to do is provide us with the transaction ID and we will respond promptly. We are also implementing a way to view your gift card balance here on our store.

The Media Leadership team has decided to extend the Halloween Script Writing Competition deadline to October 25th! Below is the updated competition timeline schedule:

Competition Timeline

The winner of the Halloween Themed Writing Competition's story will be turned into a reel and released on our social platforms! Two other submissions will be chosen to receive potterpoints as second and third places.

The theme for the competition is Spooky Stories! Aim to keep your piece as a short story, with no more than 1500 words.

Rewards
Winner: 500 potterpoints & story turned into a reel
Second place: 150 potterpoints
Third place: 100 potterpoints
