St. Patrick's Day is here, and we are happy to bring back the luck of the Irish again! To celebrate, our seasonal St. Patrick's Day-themed items will return to the store! These are the following:

Pet Leprechaun: Bring a mischievous leprechaun on your adventures for extra good luck! Beware of their trickery, though!
Leprechaun Hat: A green hat decorated by a four-leaf clover - perfect for stopping yourself from getting pinched!
St. Paddy's Day Emotes: Give a four-leaf clover to your friend, pinch them for not wearing green, and much more with this emote pack! The following emotes are included:

The Technology & Development department has decided to close the Java Developer applications. Applications will remain closed until further notice. We will be working to revamp the application to better reflect the position and to make it clearer to applicants what we are looking for. All currently open applications will be responded to soon.

The Technology and Development department is excited to announce that we will be opening a beta version of Quabbleball for player testing and feedback. We understand that over the last year there have been numerous suggestions made regarding rebalancing the various Quabbleball positions, and to ensure it is done correctly, we would like to gather as many thoughts in real-time as we can.

The aim of this testing will be to allow you to give us live feedback on the game, talk with other Quabbleball players, and then have the changes implemented so that you can test them. This allows us to then tweak the game accordingly based on your feedback.

How do I sign up?

To sign up, please comment your IGN (In-Game Name) and Discord tag (e.g. Teheeo, Harrison#4651) on this thread. The first 20 people to comment will be added to a private channel on the Potterworld Discord where they’ll be given more information on how the player testing will work! If we decide that we need more volunteers, we will reach out to anyone else who has commented on the thread.

What are the requirements?

• It is preferable for players to have some experience with Quabbleball over the years, but we are also open to fresh perspectives too!
• If you are given the opportunity to test, you must be active. We expect you to join games and provide your feedback. You risk the chance of being removed from the testing if we find that you are not active.

When will this be happening?

We will be giving our player testers access to the beta version of Quabbleball on Saturday March 11. This process will go on...

Congratulations to Ariel @Creme_de_Creme on becoming our newest Assistant to Head of Academics!

As Assistant to Head, Ariel is now responsible for the management of all the teams within the Academics department alongside the current Head of Academics (Zach). Together, they will work to ensure the quality of all live events on the server, including classes, challenges, tournaments, and training sessions.

Ariel has been an excellent addition to the Academics department since she joined through the Academics and Arena merge. She has helped make the team into what it is today and has been crucial in ensuring that the two sub-departments work well together. We cannot wait to see the new heights she takes the Academics department to in this new role.

Hello Witches and Wizards!

With the arrival of the season of love as well as this year's Valentine's event, the WizNetworker team hosted a Valentine's Giveaway in which submissions had to write something nice about someone else in order to be entered! The winner has the opportunity to choose between the Valentine's Housing Scenery, Red Wizard Hat, or the Heart Staff wand appearance as well as an additional 200 House Points and Potter Points!

However, because there were so many entries, we decided to go ahead and pick two winners! Without further ado, our winners are... rosiemary and Davologies!

Hello witches and wizards!

As we start March, we are excited to announce the winner of last month's giveaway, as well as announce this month's new prompt!

In February, we had so many incredible pieces of art submitted that fit the "expression of love" prompt! From beautifully constructed compositions to incredible builds, those in our art community showed their talent once again! And so, without further ado, the February winner is… tqrpiar! They will receive the prize of 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points today.

Now onto the March giveaway & theme!

To reiterate, the Monthly Art Giveaway is a way for players to create any art form (MC build, render, drawing, writing, craft, etc.) while fitting a specific theme. One winner will be randomly picked at the end of the month, and will receive 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points!

This month's prompt is to create a piece that includes flowers to promote the upcoming arrival of Spring!
