It's time for our Arena 2023 Season 1 Releases!

Arena Dueling Halls: We have updated the Dueling Halls to include a feature where you can see how many people are in each Arena!

New Challenge Types: We heard your feedback regarding some of our dueling & flying game modes and have decided to add some new ones! Here are all new challenge modes:

NEW - Knockout Flying Challenge
NEW - FFA-styled Dueling Challenge
NEW - Flying Training Sessions

Arena Protocol: The Arena Team has added two new protocols to its rules. These new rules are:

- If both players forfeit a duel, then both players will be marked as having lost the duel (and will receive the lesser rewards, if forfeiting within the top 4).
- In a team dueling challenge, if a teammate leaves the challenge, the team will be given the option to duel with the acknowledgement that they will be down a player. (This will be a third option between (1) finding them a new teammate that has not participated in the challenge yet, (2) playing with a man down, and (3) forfeiting the duel. Players are allowed to decide on any of the above options.)

We have added these new protocols in our continuing efforts to ensure that your experience in challenges and tournaments remains consistent and fair at all times.

Arena Valentines Changes: We've gone ahead and decorated both the Arena Lobby and the Arena Hubs...

The Media department is excited to announce that we are opening Video WizNetworker applications! Video WizNetworkers are Staff members devoted to creating video content for our YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, & the Potterworld Store.

Applications will remain open for the time being until the position is filled. Remember to take your time when you fill in the application and make sure you are able to meet all the requirements (listed in the beginning) before submitting your application. For any questions, please contact the Head of Media (Ralie#5837) or the Assistant to Head of Media (MamaDuckie#4821).

Congratulations to Danielle @MamaDuckie on becoming our newest Assistant to Head of Media & Public Relations!

As Assistant to Head, Danielle is now responsible for the management of all the teams within the Media & PR department alongside the current Head of Media & PR (Emily). Together, they are responsible for the standards for creative content released & used for the server.

Ever since joining the Media Leadership team a year ago, Danielle has been going above and beyond with all that she does! Danielle joined the Media team in 2020 as a DD Writer and has been a phenomenal team member who has shaped the Daily Diviner into what it is today. I consider myself so lucky to be able to work alongside her and I am excited to see all she does in this new role!

We're excited to release the following game patches and improvements! This update includes changes to various long-awaited suggestions, feedback, and newly added quality-of-life enhancements! This update is live and in effect now!

Adaptive House Point Hourglass
The Hourglass within the Great Hall at Hogsworth will now adaptively move according to each house's current house points rather than remain static at all times during each yearly quarter - it's beautifully magical!


Enchanted Compass Personal Slots
You can now save personal custom locations within your Enchanted Compass! There are three slots for you to use, simply CLICK to save your current location, CLICK again to have your compass track to that saved location, and SHIFT CLICK to remove the saved location altogether from your compass.


Book Copiers Worldwide
It's now possible to copy your important books outside of the premises of Hogsworth! Book Copiers can be found in various towns across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The new locations are as follows:

Welcome to the Academics weekly assignment for the week of February 12th, 2023! These weekly assignments will give our Professors the ability to showcase some of their lesson ideas here on the website. Each assignment will be posted for a week, in which everyone will be able to read about the topic and respond to the assignment prompt. This week's assignment is "Magical Architecture - Universidad de Urubamba" created by Jake (jake_ft).

This is the final weekly assignment that will be announced in this format on our website and Discord server. All future weekly assignments will be available through the normal link, but will not be posted. They will still be updated every Sunday.

The season of love is upon us! Therefore, the WizNetworker team is excited to announce our Valentine's 2023 Giveaway! When you enter you'll have the chance to win either the Valentine's Housing Scenery, the Red Wizard Hat, or the Heart Staff wand appearance as well as 200 House Points and 100 Potter Points. There will be one winner at the moment, but that can change with the number of submissions!

This time, the giveaway will work a little differently... you have to write something nice about someone else in order to enter! This message can be to a friend, someone you wish to get to know more, or even your significant other if applicable! Negative and inappropriate messages will be deleted, so please be careful and considerate of what you write.
