The Media department & Daily Diviner team are excited to announce that we are reopening DD Editor applications! Daily Diviner Editors edit all articles before they are published in the Daily Diviner. They are knowledgeable about different types of writing and are skilled in grammar. They check articles for quality, consistency, and accuracy.

Applications will stay open until March 8th! Do take your time when you fill in the application and make sure you are able to meet all the requirements (listed in the beginning) before submitting it. Please contact the Head of Media or Daily Diviner Advisor if you have any questions.

Welcome to the Academics weekly assignment for the week of February 6th, 2022! These weekly assignments will give our Professors the ability to showcase some of their lesson ideas here on the website. Each assignment will be posted for a week, in which everyone will be able to read about the topic and respond to the assignment prompt. After many months of work, we are excited to announce the release of our new permanent minigame: Soulshard Wars!

Soulshard Wars, a magical spin-off of bedwars, is an exciting minigame where players compete in 4 teams to defend their Soulshard while working together to destroy their opponents’ Soulshards and vanquish their foes. Of course, as a minigame on a magical server, Soulshard Wars will have a magical twist. Players will have the opportunity to gather spells, duel their enemies and use multiple new magical items throughout the course of the game.

May the best team prevail!

Because this is a permanent minigame, you can find daily Soulshard Wars tasks in your /me menu.

The WizNetworker team is happy to introduce our Monthly Art Giveaways! Every month, we will release a prompt that you will be able to respond to with an art piece, for the chance to win a prize! One winner will be randomly picked at the end of the month, and will receive 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points!

This month's prompt is to create an art-piece that depicts how you express love to others!

The guidelines for entering are as follows:
- One prompt will be released every month. All submissions must follow this prompt.
- The submissions may be ANY form of art (writing, drawing, renders, music, photos, etc.) as long as you are able to share it with us.
- All submissions must follow all the Potterworld rules (keep it appropriate).
- You may not win 2 months in a row.

To enter, share your submission with us on the Art Discord by sending it in the #monthly-giveaway channel! Just be sure to include your IGN in the message when you make a submission.

Today we are excited to talk about a small change we are making with our current "Head of House" role! From today forward, we are going to be rebranding our 4 "Head of Houses" to become a team of "Housemasters"! We also are welcoming a couple of new members to the team. Here are your Housemasters:


Congratulations and welcome to the new Housemaster team! You will recognize them with the [House Housemaster] in-game prefix & role on the Discord!

Why are we changing the Head of House role and establishing this new team?

• As Potterworld continues to develop its stories and gameplay content we have identified the necessity for us to use the lore role of Head of House for some future content releases. Because of this, we have created a new role name of Housemaster!
• We wanted to also create an equal experience interacting and engaging our staff and community with our Housemasters, so we established a team to ensure that the effort was equal across all Houses.

What can we expect from this new team?

• The new Housemaster team will set off to engage our community with regular topics, inspiring discussions, and live hangouts on a regular basis. We want to bridge the gap between our team and our players. This is a two-way street! We are excited to interact with all of you so come and hang out!
