New Assistant to Head of Tech & Dev
As Assistant to Head, Harrison is now responsible for the management of all teams within the Tech & Dev department alongside the current Head of Tech & Dev (Alexis). Together, they are responsible for the technological advances made on the server and the quality of the content released.
Ever since joining the Tech & Dev Leadership team as a Sr. Developer over a year ago, Harrison has been going above and beyond with all that he does. Shortly after, he also became the Grounds Keeper Lead and became an even more essential part of our team. Harrison helped bring the Grounds Keeper team to new heights and has made many important contributions to the Development team, including improving quest creation tools and 1.16 progress. We are excited to see to what new heights he will bring the Tech & Dev department as a whole in his new role, and I am very lucky to work alongside him.

2023 Barrel Racing Tournament
Hello everyone!
With the Butterbrew Festival in Appleby well underway, we are excited to reveal the details of our upcoming Barrel Racing Tournament.
How Will the Tournament Work?
Our tournament will involve a special leaderboard for the duration of the tournament. Players can earn points through placing within the top 3 in a round of Barrel Racing. This tournament is different in that it will only last for 10 days. At the conclusion of the tournament, the top five players on each leaderboard will win a reward!
You can view your placements for this tournament on the tournament page here or in-game in by Samuel Nottingham.
The tournament will run from 12am PST on Friday September 1st, 2023, until 12am PST on Monday, September 11th, 2023.
What Are the Rewards?
The top five players in the tournament will receive the following rewards:

- Temporary PvP Crown hat
- 500 Potter Points
- 10,000 Gold
- Light Orange Wand Particles

Monthly Art Giveaway - September 2023
Hello witches and wizards!
As September begins, we are excited to announce the winner of last month's giveaway, as well as announce this month's new prompt!
In August, we had so many incredible pieces of art submitted that fit the theme of the great outdoors! From beautiful photos to gorgeous paintings, those in our art community showed their talent once again! And so, without further ado, the August winner is… M_Engel! They will receive the prize of 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points today.
Now onto the September giveaway & theme!
To reiterate, the Monthly Art Giveaway is a way for players to create any art form (MC build, render, drawing, writing, craft, etc.) while fitting a specific theme. One winner will be randomly picked at the end of the month, and will receive 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points!
This month's prompt is to create something that celebrates the beginning of autumn! From watching the leaves fall during the season to preparing for a variety of harvests, we encourage you to explore the beautiful nature of fall!
Giveaway Guidelines:
- One prompt will be released every month. All submissions must follow this prompt, submissions that do not will not be entered.
