Welcome to the Academics weekly assignment for the week of January 23rd, 2022! These weekly assignments will give our Professors the ability to showcase some of their lesson ideas here on the website. Each assignment will be posted for a week, in which everyone will be able to read about the topic and respond to the assignment prompt. This week's assignment is "Astronomy - Stellar Evolution” created by Courtney (epic_cool_mcgee).

Gauntlets are instance-based battles that can be played with a group. They will be for max-level players (level 80) and be mostly PvE-focused. You'll fight battle after battle against hordes of mobs, along with extremely powerful bosses. These will be a challenge to defeat, but also have awesome rewards, including brand new gear pieces that will only drop from the specific gauntlet.

The Inquisitorial Squad will be hosting Winter themed Community Engagements during the month of January, and all of you are invited! We will be hosting multiple CEs, over the span of a 5 days, with fun activities for you all to participate in!

We are so excited to announce that Performer Applications are reopening!

Performer is a non-staff position that involves working with the Potterwatch Directors to create content for the YouTube channel. They'll have the opportunity to participate in videos and streams, as well as leave feedback on all of the upcoming Potterwatch content.

This application will remain open for 4 weeks and will close on February 5th @ 12pm PST. Do take your time when you fill in the application and make sure you are able to meet all the requirements (listed at the start of the application) before submitting it. Please contact the Head of Media if you have any questions.

Over the past 2 months, many witches and wizards have been competing in Dueling, Sledding, and Flying Challenges with the goal of becoming the top wizard at Hogsworth! We'd like to congratulate jennrawr, Invisibilia, and tillyrawr for becoming our 2021 Season 4 Arena Champions!
