Welcome to the Academics weekly assignment for the week of April 17th, 2022! These weekly assignments will give our Professors the ability to showcase some of their lesson ideas here on the website. Each assignment will be posted for a week, in which everyone will be able to read about the topic and respond to the assignment prompt. This week's assignment is "Alchemy - Alchemical Symbols” created by Toad (ElizabethTheToad).

Each year, the fairies of the Fairy Grove use their elemental talents to bring about springtime. With spring just around the corner, they need the help of Hogsworth students! Shrink down to the size of a fairy and discover your own talent as you help with the changing of the seasons. Speak to Kevin at the Great Hall to take part in the magic!

Fairy Talents
Each fairy possesses a magical talent that they use to help change the seasons. Complete the Spring Awakening quest to discover your own talent whether it be water, garden, light, animal, or tinker. You can obtain fairy garments to blend in with the other fairies of your talent by downloading one of our bases!

The Engineer and Magiventologists teams have some fantastic news for you all!
For the first time ever, we are giving players the opportunity to gain early access to and contribute their thoughts and balancing notes on our game, Star Battle. At the moment, we are only taking 10 volunteers and the possibility for more after.

What is Star Battle?
Star Battle is a game in which two teams, Rebels and Imperials, fight using guns, sabers and other weapons and items. We have had four game modes in the past which include Escort Payload (2021), Domination (2020), Team Deathmatch (2017) and the original, FFA (2016). Each game mode has their own different spins and objectives on the general goal of the game.

How do I sign up?
Simply comment on this post with your IGN (In-Game Name) and Discord ID (For example: Zmiy, Lachlan#5093). The first ten people will be messaged by Zmiya (Lachlan#5093) with more information from there. If we would like to take more volunteers, we will message the next group of people in this thread.

What is required of me?

• Although it is not a requirement, it is preferred all volunteers have played previous years of Star Battle.
• If you are offered to beta test, you must be active. You are expected to be joining games and providing feedback. If we find you are not doing so, we will offer your spot to someone else.

Welcome back to our Monthly Art Giveaway! One winner will be randomly picked at the end of the month, and will receive 150 Potter Points and 100 House Points!

This month's prompt is to create an art piece including fairies!

The guidelines for entering are as follows:
- One prompt will be released every month. All submissions must follow this prompt, submissions that do not will not be entered.
- The submissions may be ANY form of art (writing, drawing, renders, music, photos, etc.) as long as you are able to share it with us.
- All submissions must follow all the Potterworld rules (keep it appropriate).
