Welcome to the Academics weekly assignment for the week of November 14th, 2021! These weekly assignments will give our Professors the ability to showcase some of their lesson ideas here on the website. Each assignment will be posted for a week, in which everyone will be able to read about the topic and respond to the assignment prompt. As Season 3 comes to a close, it's time for our Arena Season 4 Release! The theme for this release is Magical Schools, and we have 3 new maps, with a 4th map to be revealed later throughout the season!

• NEW - Arena Club: A new set of arenas for 1v1 Dueling Challenges, the Arena Club takes you right back to the old days of dueling in the castle of Hogsworth!
• NEW - Mahounoshiro Flying Course: Travel back to the Winter Waltz event of 2020 and experience the beautiful sights of Mahounoshiro. Can you beat the school known for its Quabbleball championships at flying?
• NEW - Dormunstrad Flying Course: Dormunstrad is known for its unyielding, harsh weather. Located in the midst of Scandinavia, only the most determined fliers have been brave enough to try this school's flying course. Are you courageous enough to give it a go?

As the spooky season has come to a close, so have our Halloween 2021 Competitions. We saw many wonderful submissions this time around, and are excited to finally announce the winners!

The Hunt: Stage One - Revisit The Past
The Seer team is proud to present The Hunt, our Chapter Two Finale. Embark on an epic journey to begin unravelling one of the longest mysteries in Roleplay. Several challenging puzzles await you, each with its own unique twists. Will you be able to complete The Hunt?

How To Play
Starting now, you'll be able to enter the room behind the mysterious door in the Roleplay Hub and speak to Madame Florence to learn more about the event. You'll also be able to view the current puzzle in the Roleplay Hub, as well as on the website located here.
Each puzzle is extremely difficult and may require items from past Roleplay Events. Several Puzzles also include multiplayer elements that will require you to work together, even across allegiance and faction lines.
Please note, that multiple groups are able to complete each puzzle, although the website page and Roleplay Hub will update when the first person completes each puzzle.

Need Help?
- Each puzzle contains a clue to a specific location in-game, where the gameplay will begin. These puzzles are meant to be difficult and are not meant to be solved alone. Although you can talk and help each other, please do not submit support tickets, or ask staff for help in any way, as we will not be assisting you. Hey! Today we bring you guys some updates to the Inquisitor Application! This post will go over all of the changes made to the application, along with the role responsibilities and things team members can expect to do if they join the team.

Application Updates
We have decided to lower the level requirement to level 50, so hopefully we can reach more interested applicants!

We have also removed a couple questions on the application that we felt were repetitive or too difficult for just a written application. Hopefully this change will make it less daunting to apply for this position.

Role Responsibilities
The Inquisitorial Squad has lots of creative freedom to create any sort of activities or 'events' for the community and Staff Team to enjoy.

Currently, the team works on monthly Community Engagements that include a couple planned activities that they host. These activities can range from hangouts, player vs. player, individual gameplay, team building activities, and more! The activities that the team can come up with can range from something as simple as setting up a movie theatre to just hangout and watch movies on Discord to full out player vs. player competitions! We're open to many new ideas, and we'd love to see what potential applicants have to offer with their ideas.

The Inquisitorial Squad also creates and hosts activities for the Staff Team to enjoy. This includes team building activities (TBAs) after our All-Staff meetings, along with a Staff 'Event' called Staff Appreciation Day (SAD). Similar to Community Engagements, or other community driven activities that the Inquisitorial Squad plans, these Staff Activities provide creative freedom to come up with fun ideas for our hardworking Staff...
