The Fifth Battle of Potterworld
Following Matt's Assassination, and the grave warning found in a letter in the Dark Follower base, it appears that Grux has finally made his next move against the Wizarding World, attacking Hogsworth itself, in order to obtain a powerful item hidden within the walls of the castle. Not only that, but Grux has brought some... old friends and old foes to aide him in his destruction. Only you, along with three other brave heroes, can save the school, and stop Grux once and for all. Will you answer the call?

How to Play
To join the 5th Battle of Potterworld, you can queue up to join the game using /dungeons. Games will begin in groups of four, as you'll be taken to the destroyed school. You'll then have an hour to try to work your way through our first ever Dungeon, completing puzzles, parkours, and facing off against Grux and whatever surprises await you around every corner.
N.B. - For the first few days this event is live, there may be longer than usual queue times. This is to ensure server-wide stability.

Gameplay
- Venture into the halls of the destroyed school, by queuing up using /dungeon. As this is a Dungeon, and not a Gauntlet, it is not locked behind a certain level (although being a higher level will certainly have it's advantages), and is also much more focused on puzzles, instead of intense boss-fights.

Rewards
Each time you complete the Dungeon, you will be awarded 1 Roleplay Token. Obtaining 10 Roleplay Tokens will give you access to an exclusive reward: The Roleplay Staff. You can trade in your 10 Roleplay Tokens in the Roleplay Hub, accessible from...

To celebrate Potterworld's 8th Anniversary, we're hosting writing & skin competitions for players to have the chance to receive a store item of their choice & Potter Points!

In order to participate, you'll have to enter one of the two competitions. These two competitions are separate, so you can enter both!

Skin Competition:
For this competition, you can show off your skin stills - Kevin style! You can create any outfit for Kevin (skin base provided) for your submission! Participants will be judged on 2 categories: Best Dressed and Most Creative. There will be 1 winner for each category, and the winner will receive one store item under $10 USD of their choice and 400 potter points!

Participants will be judged on 2 categories: Most Heartfelt and Most Creative. Hello lovely readers! Welcome to Potterworld’s 8th Anniversary! I hope you are just as excited as I am. Throughout the history of Potterworld, there have been multiple changes and developments to how Potterworld has run its server. I got the chance to ask Alexstrasza14 and darkatflash about some of their experiences throughout Potterworld’s 8-year journey to gain some insight into those changes. Please join me in reflecting on some of Potterworld’s past through their eyes!

Celebrating 8 Years of Potterworld
You are cordially invited to join the celebrations for Potterworld’s 8th Anniversary! Visit pieces of the server’s history as we commemorate eight years of fond memories with this amazing community. Speak to Droobledore at the Great Hall to join the festivities!

Quests
In your Quest Journal, you will see a new icon for the Anniversary Event. This will be accessible throughout the entire event and will be disabled after the event ends. Upon completing quests, you will be rewarded Event Tokens! There are two main quests as well as two side quests that can be completed once every 12 hours.

Minigames & Repeatable Gameplay
Speak to the Minigames Master at the event in order to play through the new Anniversary Balloon Parkour or returning Drop Into Town Dropper and Survival Tactics Parkour. Completing these minigames will award bonus Event Tokens!

All games in /games with the exception of the seasonal May the Fourth Star Racing and Star Battle games will also reward Event Tokens for the duration of the event.

Oakport needs Potterworld Legends to help clear out the pesky mobs that inhabit the Wilderness. Completing all the Daily Mob Kill tasks for 7 days will award players the "Mob Hunter" status with an exclusive collectable. Speak to the Half-Giant in Oakport to get started and view these tasks.

Don't they grow up so fast? It is Potterworld's 8th anniversary! To celebrate this huge milestone, the Store team is happy to announce the Anniversary Release & Sale! The anniversary sale will last from the 18th to 23rd of May at 12 am PST with up to 50% off everything except for the New Releases category. The new items featured in this release are as follows:

• Travel Case Warp Key: Have you ever wanted to flaunt just how much you've travelled the world? With this new Warp Key appearance, you can do that!
• Confetti Wand Effects: Do you have the burning passion to show off your celebration cheer? With these new wand effects, you can express this with its vast amount of colours!
