Welcome to the Academics weekly assignment for the week of February 13th, 2022! These weekly assignments will give our Professors the ability to showcase some of their lesson ideas here on the website. Each assignment will be posted for a week, in which everyone will be able to read about the topic and respond to the assignment prompt. The Media department is excited to announce that we are reopening the WizNetworker applications! WizNetworkers are responsible for managing the server's social media platforms, and organizing community giveaways & competitions. We also plan scheduled posts and contribute to the creation of the monthly WizNewsletter.

Applications will remain open until all positions have been filled. Hogsworth students are now able to make the journey back into Ancient Greece to visit the island of Kalphos, which is home to devout worshipers of the goddess of love, Aphrodite. This Valentine’s Day, help Aphrodite dispel the havoc in Hellas and return peace to the island by fixing her broken statues and defeating the monster that inhabits the underground Labyrinth. Speak to Kevin at the Great Hall, then jump aboard the ship outside the boathouse to begin your voyage.

If you would like to fit in amongst the residents of Kalphos, you can download a toga to wear yourself with one of our bases! Select a basic toga or pick out a more complex one symbolizing your devotion to Aphrodite, Zeus, Poseidon, or Hades!

The Technology & Development department is excited to announce we are reopening the Grounds Keeper applications. Grounds Keepers are the bug testers of the server. They are responsible for testing and logging reported bugs. They are also tasked with testing new gameplay content and you will work in coordination with other teams/departments.

As Season 4 comes to a close, it's time for our Arena 2022 Season 1 Release! The theme for this release is Roleplay, and we have 3 new maps for you!

• NEW - Phoenix Dueling Arena: Train with the Phoenix Talons in the official Phoenix Base Arena! Do you have what it takes to compete with the best?
• NEW - Roleplay Bases Flying Course: Can't pick a favorite? This course takes you through every roleplay base! From the hallways of the ministry to the werewolf caves, this course has it all!
• NEW - Ministry of Magic Dueling Arena: Circle around the fountain at the ministry as you compete with the toughest Auralocks in a heated duel! Watch out for the flying glass shards!!

We hope to see you at our Challenges & Tournaments throughout Season 1 and beyond!

The Media department & Daily Diviner team are excited to announce that we are reopening DD Editor applications! Daily Diviner Editors edit all articles before they are published in the Daily Diviner. They are knowledgeable about different types of writing and are skilled in grammar. They check articles for quality, consistency, and accuracy.
